Note: JusticeTimes.com is a non-partisan watchdog organization. The focus is on Justice and Fairness. JusticeTimes.com is not in the tank for any political party or political candidate. We are not out to curry favor with anyone in the political establishment. They will know that they will be treated fairly and honestly but that we will call them out on items that appear unjust, dishonest or blatantly misleading.
Creating transparency in public policy, political campaigns and business ethics
When it comes to politics, many people feel that there is a lot to be desired. Most people want the straight scoop without all the twist and spin. On the JusticeTimes.com Website, we will identify the twisters and spinners as Campaign Spokespersons or surrogates. “Pundits” usually represent a defined viewpoint so they will be identified as what they are. Pundits must provide interesting commentary to qualify for revenue sharing. Reporters are required to investigate all sides of a controversy and participate in revenue sharing.
Before publishing a controversial story, we will try to contact them with what we have and get their response. If they fail to respond to us, we will note that above the story we publish.
Society has always need watchdogs. Milton Friedman once said that if you put the Government in charge of the Sahara Desert, without Citizen oversight, there would be a shortage of sand in as little as five years.
The mission is to advocate on behalf of the public in the following arenas. With a lot of help from our readers, we can all sort out the fact from the fiction. We take the position that the combined readership we have and will have, in aggregate, is far more insightful than a small board of directors. Our board will provide the leadership and the opportunity. Of course there will be extremists from multiple points of view that will post viewpoints that simply will not vet and our many readers, pundits, editors and reporters will spot the allegations and facts that just do not check out.
To finance this operation, JusticeTimes.com accepts advertising. Advertising is separated into two distinct categories. Vetted and non-vetted. Vetted advertising gets lower rates. What we mean by vetted advertising is that our account executives have verified that a proposed ad and the company behind the advertising are stalwart members of their respected communities and that they uphold the highest standards of behavior with their clients. We ask our readers and sponsors to focus on vetted businesses whenever possible.
They stand by all the advertising claims. Their terms and conditions are upfront, plain and visible. Their ethics are above reproach. They accept the fact that customers, clients and/or patients can file complaints through us and they have agreed to promptly; honestly and ethically respond to all complaints.
We will keep all properly handled complaints, involving private organization private and sealed unless both parties agree to release the dispute. If a private entity refuses to respond as they have agreed to in their advertising agreement, they may lose their preferred advertising rates and may also be denied the opportunity to advertise at any rate on JusticeTimes.com. A summary will report how each dispute was resolved.
However, if the entity is public, we will post on the fly unless both parties to the dispute agree to privacy. Basic advertising is free to all entities that sign our ethics agreement. This includes political ads. Misleading statements, by politicians must be corrected. Political statements, by politicians, will be examined and responded to by our readers.

When there are opposing views on an issue, we disclose both sides. We will use registered online polling. One vote per registered voter per poll will be permitted. All registered voter information will be kept confidential in a manner that is least likely to cause a Government subpoena. Votes will not be tracked by voter so no one will know whop voted how on what issue. By permitting only one vote per issue, we reduce the amount of spam voting. This is an attempt to obtain accurately results by demographic and in aggregate. We can obtain results from participants who have no landline phone service.
