by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. Pamela Fay Felkins Case Plays Center Stage The County Fair is now over in Faulkner County. The attendance was high. People were concerned about a lot of what has been happening in politics since 2006, when the last sea change in politics began to occur. That sea change peeked in 2008 with the election of Barack Obama. Unknowingly, voters have been increasingly frustrated with the politicos they’ve elected. Bush frustrated the voters also. Meanwhile, while rapt attention has been paid on politics at the national level, government has been breaking down at the local level also. Such a breakdown got worse in November 2006 in the Faulkner County Sheriff’s race, when both candidates promised to send the evidence in the Pamela Faye Felkins case to the crime lab should they win. However, the winner in the 2006 sheriff’s race, Karl Byrd, failed to keep his word. In January of 2007, when the winner in the Faulkner County sheriff’s race, Karl Byrd, took office, the former head of the multi-agency task force walked in to congratulate newly elected sheriff Karl Byrd, asked when the evidence was going to be sent to the crime lab now that he [...]

by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. Then buy your taxes back with your vote. The undersigned citizens petition the United States Senate and House of Representatives to suspend all payroll and income taxes, including employer contributions, for one year, and direct employers to remit their share to the employees who earn them. A tax vacation would create the following benefits: 1. Stimulate the economy at its citizen foundation where consumption and savings will promote production and job creation. 2. Eliminate compliance and preparation costs for individuals and businesses. 3. Halt service and enforcement costs for government. 4. Discourage credit expansion and deficit spending to support at great citizen expense the following unnecessary burdens: A. Aggressive worldwide military commitments well in excess of our nation’s defensive needs, including two counter-productive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan; occupations in Europe, Japan, and Korea long after hostilities there have ceased; and more than 700 military bases in foreign lands. B. Bailouts, subsidies, and protections for privileged private corporations, trusts, and associations. 5. Encourage the sale of government businesses that compete against U.S. citizens. These burdensome liabilities require periodic bailouts, regular subsidies, and anti-competitive protections at a net loss to the public. 6. Facilitate and help fund [...]

by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. 6 Speakers Compete for Student Support Conrad Reynolds spoke to the group of college Republicans at the Republican Party of Arkansas Headquarters in Little Rock. After covering his modest background growing up in Arkansas, he followed by highlighting his service in the military. Reynolds revealed that he decided to get in the U.S. Senate race due to his objections to the economic stimulus bill, an awareness that veterans were not being treated fairly, and from inspiration after attending a TEA party in Richmond, Virginia. As an example, Reynolds cited the Obama Administration’s attempt to make soldiers cover the medical expenses from their service related injuries from their own insurance or out of their own pockets. “I don’t owe anybody anything,” Reynolds told the gathering of students. “I live on my retirement. I have not taken a dime from special interests. I have not taken a dime from political action committees and I don’t want to. I am trying to get as much as I can from regular people… I don’t have very many friends that can give $2,400, but that is not what it is all about anyway.
Quorum Court Members Meet Conservative Forum Members by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. Rachel Dickerson, a reporter for the Log Cabin Democrat came to the monthly meeting of the Conservative Forum. The forum is open to Democrats, Libertarians, Republicans, Tea Party Members, Constitution Party Members Independents and members of general public. The forum focus is mainly on good government issues that affect Faulkner County residents. NOTE: Conservatives, as a whole tend to favor smaller more efficient government while Liberals tend to favor large less efficient government. Conservatives focus on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (less governmental micromanagement). Liberals seem to focus on less protection for life, less individual liberty in favor of larger government and fewer rights to pursue personal agendas. This month’s meeting was held at the Catfish & More Restaurant on the north side of Conway, Arkansas. The local owned and operated restaurant has an excellent meeting room and top-notch southern cuisine. At this meeting the members of the Quorum Court were invited and many accepted the invitation. The meeting was lively cordial and informative. Attendees at the meeting submitted written questions, which were read to the Quorum Court Members who agreed to answer questions from [...]

Obama have presided over the large wealth transfer our nation has ever seen. Trillions out of the pockets of the working millions, directly into the coffers of the wealthy. You will see and hear lie after lie in this Ben Bernanke Video Obama has paid back the union bosses and stabbed the union member in the back with the largest drop in union wages in history. This is the kind of staff this genius has appointed and directed. He is making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Be sure to watch this Ben Bernanke Video and remember you are seeing and hearing him in HIS OWN WORDS! The Ben Bernanke Video includes a compilation of statements he’s made from 2005-2007 that will have you 100% certain America is doomed if we continue to value what this economy killer says. The best way to get this President out [...]

by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. Your rights are at risk over something most people actually do not like. Like it or not Polygamy is Protected under the 9th Amendment. Anti-polygamists, in their zeal to destroy Mormons, also destroyed much of the effectiveness of the 9th amendment and opened the door for attacking the 2nd amendment as well as the first amendment. The first amendment has been so badly damaged that the Federal Government has actually passed laws against “Hate Speech.” The first amendment was designed to protect hate speech. I have the right to say things you hate to hear but selectively, liberty by liberty, politicians have hamstrung free speech. By doing so we are having unlimited government assert its tentacles into every nook and cranny of our lives. Our children can’t even pray over their meals in public schools. You ask, what does that have to do with Polygamy. When you destroy the right of polygamy, you open the door to many other liberties being destroyed…one by one. Most People Do Not Know That The 9th Amendment Protects Polygamy I have asked a pro-polygamist to agree to a recorded interview. You can read the email I sent him below.
by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. Religious Right Not Responsible for Tiller’s Death Offensive political speech is coming under new attack. Political Correctness claims that right. Political Correctness is not written into any of the Constitutions in the United States or the 50 States. As a matter of fact, just the opposite is true. Re-read the first amendment. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. As anyone can plainly see offensive speech is a protected right. The doctrine of Political Correctness is anti first amendment. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that expressly prohibits the United States Congress from making laws “respecting an establishment of religion” or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, infringe the freedom of speech, infringe the freedom of the press, limit the right to peaceably assemble, or limit the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. – Sponsored by Real Gear for Real Bikers, Legalzoom and Jurisdictionary Preface: Eldredge, a former Reagan campaigner and entrepreneur, believes that America’s War on Drugs is an utter failure, and he pleads for legalization. Arguing that nothing seems to have been learned from the experiment with Prohibition, he points out the negative impacts of the drug war on crime rates, corruption, prison crowding, public health, civil liberties, and race relations. He proposes that the government sell illicit drugs in a system similar to state liquor stores, with the profits used for treatment and education. He argues that realizing there will always be a market for mind-altering substances will permit us to search for a “good” realistic solution rather than the “perfect” chimera of total interdiction. Eldredge’s suggestions are not novel, but his book is a concise review of the case for legalization of drugs. Reform Is Needed! Originally created to deal with emergency or other very-high intensity situations (e.g. snipers, hostages, barricaded suspects), drug war SWAT teams were deployed on fewer than 3,000 occasions in all of 1980. Today, drug war SWAT teams conduct raids more than 50,000 times per year, mostly while doing low-level drug [...]

by Ron Bartels – Sponsored by Real Gear for Real Bikers, Legalzoom and Jurisdictionary This is an investigative report. It is submitted to the Court of Public Opinion. Is Obama Really a Political Criminal? The most relevant question today is; “is the biggest political crime in American history taking place right before our eyes?” Is the puppet in the White House ineligible, according to the Constitution, to preside in the Oval Office? Is he a fraudster or a usurper? Barack Hussein Obama could easily put this issue to rest right now by releasing his actual birth certificate! But he refuses to do just that. No matter how many times he has been asked, Obama still will not release his actual birth certificate. On top of that, he is actively thwarting many efforts to compel him to release his actual birth certificate. He has teams of lawyers fighting efforts to get him to release his actual birth certificate, while his loyal underlings look down their noses at us commoners, the American people and call these legitimate requests “garbage.” The obvious imperative for those who attempt to dismiss this controversial question is: If Barack Hussein Obama has nothing to hide, [...]

This rule establishes standards to meet the minimum requirements of the REAL ID Act of 2005. These standards involve a number of aspects of the process used to issue identification documents, including: Information and security features that must be incorporated into each card; application information to establish the identity and immigration status of an applicant before a card can be issued; and physical security standards for facilities where driver’s licenses and applicable identification cards are produced.
by Ron Bartels, Ph.D. – Sponsored by Legalzoom and Jurisdictionary We Hear Lots of Politicians Talking About Earmarks What is an Earmark? Earmarks are funds provided by the Congress for projects or programs where the congressional direction (in bill or report language) circumvents the merit-based or competitive allocation process, or specifies the location or recipient, or otherwise curtails the ability of the Executive Branch to properly manage funds. Congress includes earmarks in appropriation bills – the annual spending bills that Congress enacts to allocate discretionary spending – and also in authorization bills. What Does the Earmarks Database Show? This database provides more information on earmarks in one place than has ever been available through the Federal Government. It is part of an effort to bring greater accountability and transparency to Federal spending. This step is also consistent with changes in the House Rules and Senate legislation during the 110th Congress, which requires more disclosure for earmarks.
by Jerome R. Corsi, PH.D. – Sponsored by Legalzoom and Jurisdictionary THINK IT COULD NEVER HAPPEN HERE? The process of joining the United States, Canada and Mexico into one nation similar to the European Union has begun according to the author of “The Late Great USA.” See what he has to say below. The European Union was put into place incrementally over fifty years, not by the citizens of the member states, but by the efforts of an intellectual elite who disguised their ultimate goal of a regional government. Today, a bloated, unelected bureaucracy has rule over hundreds of millions of people — people who have no say over the EU’s actions…or their own futures. Don’t be so sure! According to New York Times bestselling author Jerome Corsi, it already has. The Security and Prosperity Partnership — announced in 2005 by the leaders of Mexico, the U.S., and Canada but never presented to Congress for approval — is already laying the groundwork for the merger of the three nations into a North American Union. “TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION ?” THAT ‘S JUST FOR STARTERS…. Click to order below. Sponsored by Legalzoom and Jurisdictionary

Search warrant!” The words that came from the other side of Booker Hudson’s front door were more than just an unexpected surprise. They were also a test of America’s Constitutional privacy rights. Hudson’s evening at home with friends was interrupted by the police loudly announcing their presence. Seconds later, the door opened and in walked police officers who found Hudson amid 23 bags of cocaine and a gun. At his trial, Hudson’s lawyers successfully suppressed the evidence found that fateful night, on the grounds that it was obtained via an unreasonable search. The case was appealed to the Michigan Supreme Court, which overruled that decision, stating that disallowing the evidence was not an appropriate remedy for violating proper search [...]
